Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri (CAPNCM) is one (1) of 19 Community Action Agencies in Missouri assisting those less fortunate to assist them in becoming self-sufficient. Our vision for the future: CAPNCM envisions a world without poverty in which all people have access to necessary resources and are treated with dignity. Our mission is to offer services to individuals to become self- sufficient by empowering them to obtain the resources needed to build strong families and communities. CAPNCM’s Board is recruiting a new leader who will be responsible for the implementation of the Agency’s strategic plan. In addition, the executive director is responsible for internal operations and the implementation of the Agency’s mission and all policies set by the Board. CAPNCM’s Board of Directors expects the executive director to possess excellent leadership, communication, and facilitation skills. The executive director must have the ability to work with a minimum of guidance, report to a 27 seat Board of Directors, lead staff, administer programs, and respective budgets, initiate and oversee fundraising and be able to communicate with the public regarding the Agency’s mission and goals. Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Planning, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Sociology, Social Work, Public Administration or a related field preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required or four (4) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in community action management or other similar not-for- profit executive management is also preferred.
