Board of Directors
As a Community Action Agency (CAA) we administer the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). The Federal CSBG state mandates a "tripartite" board structure, which requires exactly on-third be public elected officials, at least one-third be low income representatives, and the remainder be from the private sector. A CAA Board of Directors is one that "fully participates in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program to serve low-income communities".
The Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday each fiscal year during the months of November, January, March, May, July, and September. Meetings are generally held from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the agency's corporate office located at 1506 Oklahoma Ave, Trenton, MO.
