Missouri CAN is the statewide association of Missouri’s 19 Community Action Agencies, Allies, and Supporters united to end poverty. We are helping people and changing lives in all 114 counties and the City of St. Louis. Central Missouri Community Action CMCA is the designated Community Action Agency for the eight counties of Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Osage. Community Action Agency of St. Louis County CAASTLC is a Community Action Agency serving St. Louis County. Community Action Partnership of St. Joseph (CAP of St. Joseph), is the designated Community Action Agency serving the needs of low-income families in Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and DeKalb Counties in Northwest Missouri. Community Services, Inc. of Northwest Missouri Community Services, Inc. is a private, non-for-profit corporation that contracts with Federal and State funding sources to operate programs and provide services to low-income, elderly, and handicapped individuals in Northwest Missouri. Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation (DAEOC) is a private, not-for-profit organization serving the counties of Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott, and Stoddard counties in the Bootheel. East Missouri Action Agency EMAA is a not-for-profit Missouri corporation serving the counties of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Iron, Madison, Perry, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Washington. Economic Security Corporation of the Southwest Area Economic Security Corporation of Southwest Area (ESC) is a private nonprofit Community Action Agency created in October 1965, to serve the needs of low-income individuals and families. Jefferson-Franklin Community Action Corporation The mission of JFCAC is to advance, elevate, and promote the economic, educational, civic, and social conditions of the citizens. The mission includes the need to promote self-sufficiency and to strengthen the opportunity to live in decency and dignity. Missouri Ozarks Community Action, Inc. MOCA is dedicated to helping families and individuals in the eight central Missouri counties of Camden, Crawford, Gasconade, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Phelps, and Pulaski. Missouri Valley Community Action Agency MVCAA – The mission of Missouri Valley Community Action Agency is to empower disadvantaged people in our seven-county area to attain self-sufficiency through quality programs. North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) is dedicated to assist the disadvantaged within our 12 county service area in their efforts to rise above poverty by providing needed services to enable each individual to function at his or her own improved financial, physical, mental and social level. Northeast Missouri Community Action Agency NMCAA provides services to Adair, Clark, Knox, Scotland and Schuyler counties. Ozark Action, Inc. OAI seeks to utilize available resources to effectively assist individuals, families and communities to achieve their highest levels of self-sufficiency, thereby, decreasing the levels of poverty throughout OAI's service area. Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation "It is the mission of the Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation to improve the quality of life by reducing poverty and strengthening families and communities." People’s Community Action Corporation (PCAC) - St. Louis City and Walston South Central Missouri Community Action Agency The counties we serve are Butler, Carter, Dent, Reynolds, Ripley, Shannon and Wayne. United Services Community Action Agency To eliminate poverty among the people of Jackson, Clay and Platte counties in Missouri. West Central Missouri Community Action Agency WCMCAA is a community based organization dedicated to bettering the economic, physical, mental, and social well-being of all people, especially the disadvantaged, by effectively coordinating and administering available resources and information. Community Action Partnership The Community Action Partnership was established in 1972 as the National Association of Community Action Agencies (NACAA) and is the national organization representing the interests of the 1,000 Community Action Agencies (CAAs) working to fight poverty at the local level. Community Action Program Legal Services Inc. CAPLAW is a nonprofit membership organization designed to provide expert legal services and legal training to community action agencies.
