The Area Governing Board of Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri (CAPNCM) will hold its regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, September 10th at 7:00p.m. in Trenton. This meeting is open to the public.
UPDATE: The September meeting of the CAPNCM Board has been postponed until September 17th, 2019 at 7pm. KCP&L (Kansas City Power and Light, an electric company) has made their annual donation of box fans to our agency. CAPNCM offers these fans free of charge to any current customer of KCP&L. You must resent a recent bill in your name from KCP&L. Free fans are available only for current customers of KCP&L.

Winter utility help ended on Friday, May 31st. As of June 1st, the Summer portion of the program began. During the summer months, our agency can only help with electric bills that have a current disconnect/shut-off notice. NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING GRUNDY COUNTY PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY The Grundy County Public Housing Agency (GCPHA) administered by Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri (CAPNCM) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 at 8am at the Agency Office located at 1506 Oklahoma Ave, Trenton MO. The purpose of the meeting is to assist the Agency and the PHA Board in reviewing the PHA's 2019 Annual Plan and the Administrative Plan revisions (if any) that will be submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for review and approval. The PHA Plan is a guide to the agency's policies and procedures for assistance in meeting local low income need. The PHA service area includes the counties of Caldwell, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston (outside city limits of Chillicothe), Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan with extended coverage in Andrew, Buchanan (outside city limits of St. Joseph), Clinton, and DeKalb. The plan documents are available for review at the Central Office of CAPNCM at 1506 Oklahoma Ave, Trenton, MO. For additional information, call Debbie Dinsmore at 660-359-3907 ext. 1045. Community Action Partnership hosted a VOICE with the Gallatin 5th & 6th grade classes on Monday, May 20th.
Bright Futures Gallatin received the Community Partnership Fund for the month of May. The funds will be used for their back to school bash in August! Receiving the check is Shonna Morrison, pictured here with Traci Fields of CAPNCM.
On May 14th, Linn County R1 juniors and sophomores participated in a Youth Leadership Day hosted by Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri. The students learned about self leadership by participating in activities about values, communication, integrity, vision, problem solving and self awareness The National Guard came to help and brought outdoor activities for the students to participate in.
