We are pleased to announce that Sherry Hoerrmann, our current Employment & Training Director, has accepted the position of Community Services Director at CAPNCM. With this change, Employment & Training/Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) will be merged with the Community Services Department. Deloris Jarman accepted the CAPNCM Community Partner Funds on behalf of the Putnam County Senior Center. They will be using the grant to buy supplies for meals for home bound seniors.

The Grundy County Public Housing Agency (GCPHA) administered by Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri (CAPNCM) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Agency Office located at 1506 Oklahoma Avenue, Trenton, MO. The purpose of the meeting is to assist the Agency and the PHA Committee in reviewing the PHA’s 2017 Annual Plan and the Administrative Plan revisions (if any) that will be submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for review and approval.
The PHA Plan is a guide to the agency’s policies and procedures for assistance in meeting local low income need. The PHA service area includes the counties of Caldwell, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston (outside city limits of Chillicothe), Mercer, Putnam and Sullivan with extended coverage in Andrew, Buchanan (outside city limits of St. Joseph), Clinton and DeKalb. The plan documents are available for review at the Central Office of CAPNCM at 1506 Oklahoma Ave., Trenton, MO. For additional information call Debbie Dinsmore or Aaron Franklin at 660/359-3907, ext. 1045 or 1038 The Area Governing Board of Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri (CAPNCM) will hold its regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m. in Trenton. Items on the agenda include committee meetings, review of financials, and updates from all agency departments. Scheduled business will cover a review of the 990 and succession plan, new board member orientation, board resolution, and information about the upcoming CAPLAW Conference; no old business is currently scheduled. A closed executive session will be held to cover personnel matters. This meeting is open to the public.
