P-SNAP (Food Stamps) Increase Extended

The Department of Social Services has announced approval has been received from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) to extend Pandemic Food Stamp/Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (P-SNAP) benefits through the month of May 2020.  This extension will allow for the same increase to the amount of food stamps received in the month of May as recipients saw in April. Recipients of SNAP are not required to do anything to receive the additional funds, which arrive the same date as participants' usual benefits.
